My childhood ambition:
To inspire others through performance
It is perpetually evolving. I study everything I can as much as I can and then figure out what works for me.
There’s a Bob Fosse quote I came across as a child that always stuck with me “I like attractive people who aren’t so terribly aware that they are attractive... people who aren’t afraid to roll on the floor and make fools out of themselves.” These people are my muses.
Ballet was my first love and to this day is the foundation of everything I do. I’ve performed with The Opera Company of Philadelphia, International Ballet Classique, The Hartford Ballet and now freelance. I find my peers endlessly inspiring. Dancers are self-motivated, responsible, consistent and strive for perfection. I have carried these principals with me in everything I do as not only a dancer but a model, actress, singer and businesswoman.
I’ve spent a significant portion of my life traveling and living out of a suitcase so I tend to invest in clothing that I can get a lot of use out of, staple pieces that I can wear from an airplane to ballet class to a meeting or hanging out with friends. Admittedly I also tend to wear a lot of black and neutral tones so I don’t have to worry about things matching and packing has become a lifelong crusade of efficiency. Coming from a military family the virtues of packing light were instilled in me at a young age and now as an adult I feel like I’m having a Leone style standoff with my suitcase every time I pack. This necessity for versatility and a love for the classical aesthetic is what drew me to gwenyth.
After my first encounter with Michele it became clear that I needed to be a part of this movement. gwenyth encompasses everything I value in a lifestyle brand. Our relationship quickly developed from Brand Advocate to Dance Community Liaison and much more. I look forward to growing with gwenyth and the many exciting things to come.
